Bombay Bistro - Landmark Project
Storefront Identity & Landmarks Application | 2024 I designed a comprehensive exterior storefront system and landmark-compliant signage for Bombay Bistro in New York. To elevate the restaurant’s historic facade while meeting strict local guidelines, I developed a retractable awning using Mediterranean Blue Sunbrella fabric and paired it with a matching custom single-door winter vestibule built on a steel pipe frame. I also designed a double-sided, non-illuminated blade sign using a custom-shaped black Sintra board with painted dimensional lettering. To ensure a seamless handoff for manufacturing and city approval, I put together the full shop drawings, detailing everything from lag bolt wall anchor installations to exact paint codes and translucent vinyl branding graphics for the windows.
